Change Administrator Password in Windows XP
- First, open the [Start] and select [Run] then type lusrmgr.msc then press Enter.
- Then you will see Local Users and Groups windows. In this window we can change the password on Windows. Then select the Users folder on the left and see the window on the right will display a list of existing users.
- Select the user who wants to change the password. Right click on Users and selectSet Password… For example we want to change the administrator password, then right click on Administator user and select Set Password…
- Then a warning window will appear about risk to change/reset Administrtator passwords. Click Proceed to continue our work.
- Fill the new password that we want to put on the New Password and confirm the new password again in Confirm Password.
