HP’s Slate Device

HP's slate device is the most valuable product in 2010. A big bonus for the slate product is that, being based off Windows 7, it offers full Adobe flash support. The prototype device is said to be coming later this year, and it's running Windows — Ballmer showed it running the PC Kindle app. It's also multitouch, and can do some gaming — they showed it playing Frogger.

Vice president at HP Monty Wong has reportedly confirmed that HP still plans to release its Windows 7-based Slate tablet in late October. He also confirmed that they had plans to release the Hurricane WebOS tablet in Q3 or Q4, but the Windows 7 Slate may push back the release until next year.
