How To Enable USB Debugging
When paired with a computer running Android SDK (or another diagnostic program), Debug Mode can allow you to pull up all sorts of useful information about your phone. In the screenshot below we are using the DDMS tool from the Android SDK to monitor the Samsung Galaxy S Android phone. This is just one example, How To Enable USB Debugging
Turn on “USB Debugging” on your device.
On the device, go to Settings > Applications > Development and enable USB debugging (on an Android 4.0 device, the setting is located in Settings> Developer options).

Skype for Android
Skype has now released an application for Android smartphones running Android OS version 2.1 or above, enabling users to make free calls to other Skype users and send and receive IMs, one-to-one or with a group.
